Description

Surrounded by some of Rome’s most famous places of interest - Campo de’ Fiori, Castel Sant’Angelo, Saint Peter’s Church and Piazza Navona, to name but a few - Via dei Cimatori is a quiet, almost traffic-free street in the very center of the city.

The charming Via Giulia, which is proximate to the apartment, is one of the oldest streets in Rome. The alley was designed by Bramante and Michelangelo in order to join the center of Rome to Saint Peter’s church and Trastevere on the other side of the River Tiber.

Via Giulia is lined with exclusive renaissance buildings that are extremely prestigious. Immersed in such unbelivable stunning, the apartment is perfectly positioned for exploring the city by walking, although a large number of bus services stops are just a few meters from the flat for those wishing to take public transport.

The recently restructured our Giulia 2 Accommodation is located on the first floor of a 17th century building in the heart of the city. It overlooks an inner courtyard and is thus completely unaffected by any noises.

The spacious living room is fitted with two sofa beds (one double, one single) and a fully equipped kitchen with oven, dishwasher and fridge as well as all the necessary utensils.

The spacious and large bedroom is provided with a comfortable double bed and the bathroom is fitted with a spacious bathtub. Both the living room and the bedroom have air conditioning available.

The apartment features original terracotta floor and wooden beam ceilings, making a pleasurable contrast to some modern furnishings such as leather upholstered bed and black glass dining table. This solution contributes to create a characteristic and welcoming atmosphere.

The delightful ambience of the alleys spread around the cutest neighborhood of Rome make this apartment the perfect base for a quiet and higly enjoyable holiday. We strongly believe that you will be missing Rome and our lovely and relaxing Giulia 2 Apartment for sure once back home.

a) book a Private Taxi by The Key to Italy (Recommended): We organize car pick-ups service at the Airport at a fixed flat rate of:

- €60 for 2 people.

- €75 for 3 or 4 people.

- €90 for 5 or 6 people.

Our drivers, well dressed and always on time, will waiting for you outside (after luggage claim) holding a sign with your name on it. b) use Public Transportation:

Take the "Leonardo Express" train to Rome. No stops, departing every 30 minutes from 6:30 to 23:30. It

takes 30 min to reach Termini station and it costs 14€/person.

Once arrived at Termini station take the bus N° 64 (ticket is 1,50€/person) towards S. Pietro

stopping at Corso Vittorio Emanuele, Largo Tassoni square (four stops after Largo Argentina). The stop is

only 50 meters from the apartment, Via dei Cimatori is located on the opposite side of Corso Vittorio

Emanuele. The trip from the station by taxi takes approximately 10-15 minutes and 20 minutes by bus.

The total duration of the trip from the airport to the apartment is about 40 minutes by taxi

and about 1 hour and 1/2 with train and buses.

c) take a regular Taxi

after claiming your luggage, just outside on the street, there is a taxi stand. A ride to the center will cost you about 50-55€. Taxis don't generally accept credit cards and are usually for up to 3 people. Never accept to go with private taxi drivers coming to you to offer their services. Only use regular taxis departing from taxi stands. The trip from the airport by taxi takes approximately 40 minutes.

2) IF YOU ARE ARRIVING AT TERMINI TRAIN STATION AND PLAN TO USE PUBLIC TRANSPORTATION

From Termini Station you can either take a taxi to the apartment or the bus number 64 (be aware of

pickpockets in the bus!) in the direction of St.Peter’s Church, stopping at Corso Vittorio Emanuele, Largo

Tassoni square (four stops after Largo Argentina). The stop is only 50 meters from the apartment, Via dei

Cimatori is located on the opposite side of Corso Vittorio Emanuele. The total duration of the trip from

the station to the apartment is about 15 minutes by taxi and about 1/2 hour by bus.

3) IF YOU ARE ARRIVING BY CAR: A GPS is highly recommended. Driving in Rome is pretty stressful. Parking on the street requires special tickets (1 Euro/hour). The apartment is located inside the central ZTL (Limited Traffic Zone). In case you arrive by car directly to the apartment, and its access timetable.

4) IF YOU ARRIVING FROM CIAMPINO AIRPORT

Take the CO.TRA.L bus near the Bus Arrivals to the “Anagnina” underground station, from which you should then take the underground to Roma Termini station.
