The location of our Giulia 1 is excellent as it is within walking distance to several Rome landmarks and is ideal to reach any place you need to get to. The apartment is beautifully furnished, the beds are very comfortable and the kitchen is completely stocked if you might wish to cook some delicious dishes.
The building where the Apartment Giulia 1 lies is located in the most attractive and famous quarter of Roma, just between Piazza Navona, Campo dei Fiori and St. Peter’s church.
You will be a few steps away from Castel S.Angelo as well. The connection with Termini train station is very easy as there are many buses that go toward that direction on the Corso Vittorio Emanuele street.
The holiday apartment is located in Via dei Cimatori, close to the ancient and famous Via Giulia, in the heart of the historical centre of Rome, at the first floor of a small 17th century building.
The characteristic ceiling of wood-beams, the quiet of Rome's alleys, and the welcoming atmosphere of the house make it a romantic place for a unique and very peaceful vacation.
The apartment is composed of two bedrooms, living room with kitchen and bathroom. The apartment has been recently renovated. Pictures show a cosy and pleasant place. The bathroom features a sink is built into the marble surface and a comfortable shower.
The lodging can accommodate a maximum of six persons with one comfortable sofa-bed in the lounge, together with a double bed (queen size) located in one bedroom and two single beds in the other bedroom.
The apartment is fully furnished including a small fitted kitchen. There is also air conditioning, satellite TV set, CD-stereo, washing machine and free WI FI Internet access.

1) IF YOU ARE ARRIVING AT FIUMICINO "LEONARDO DA VINCI" ROME AIRPORT
a) book a Private Taxi by The Key to Italy (Recommended): We organize car pick-ups service at the Airport at a fixed flat rate of:
- €60 for 2 people.
- €75 for 3 or 4 people.
- €90 for 5 or 6 people.
Our drivers, well dressed and always on time, will waiting for you outside (after luggage claim) holding a sign with your name on it. The driver will check if the flight is on time, inform us when you have landed and take you straight to the apartment...a 30-35 minute trip without any line and waiting time. b) use Public Transportation:
Take the "Leonardo Express" train to Rome. No stops, departing every 30 minutes from 6:30 to 23:30. It
takes 30 min to reach Termini station and it costs 14€/person.
Once arrived at Termini station take the bus N° 64 (ticket is 1,50€/person) towards S. Pietro
stopping at Corso Vittorio Emanuele, Largo Tassoni square (four stops after Largo Argentina). The stop is
only 50 meters from the apartment, Via dei Cimatori is located on the opposite side of Corso Vittorio
Emanuele. The trip from the station by taxi takes approximately 10-15 minutes and 20 minutes by bus.
The total duration of the trip from the airport to the apartment is about 40 minutes by taxi
and about 1 hour and 1/2 with train and buses.
c) take a regular Taxi
after claiming your luggage, just outside on the street, there is a taxi stand. A ride to the center will cost you about 50-55€. Taxis don't generally accept credit cards and are usually for up to 3 people. Never accept to go with private taxi drivers coming to you to offer their services. Only use regular taxis departing from taxi stands. The trip from the airport by taxi takes approximately 40 minutes.
2) IF YOU ARE ARRIVING AT TERMINI TRAIN STATION AND PLAN TO USE PUBLIC TRANSPORTATION
From Termini Station, you can either take a taxi to the apartment or the bus number 64 (be aware of
pickpockets in the bus!) in the direction of St.Peter’s Church, stopping at Corso Vittorio Emanuele, Largo
Tassoni square (four stops after Largo Argentina). The stop is only 50 meters from the apartment, Via dei
Cimatori is located on the opposite side of Corso Vittorio Emanuele. The total duration of the trip from
the station to the apartment is about 15 minutes by taxi and about 1/2 hour by bus.
3) IF YOU ARE ARRIVING BY CAR: A GPS is highly recommended. Driving in Rome is pretty stressful. Parking on the street requires special tickets (1 Euro/hour). The apartment is located inside the central ZTL (Limited Traffic Zone). In case you arrive by car directly to the apartment, and its access timetable.
4) IF YOU ARRIVING FROM CIAMPINO AIRPORT
Take the CO.TRA.L bus near the Bus Arrivals to the “Anagnina” underground station, from which you should then take the underground to Roma Termini station.
