The beautiful Aquileia apartment is located in the heart of San Marco Square. It features two bedrooms and two bathrooms. This is the best apartment you can ask for where to spend your vacation in Venice.
As soon as you enter the apartment you walk into a small beautiful living area with two very comfortable leather arm chairs, a lamp and a large glass dining table with four comfortable chairs. The fully equipped kitchen has both refrigerator and freezer.
The entire apartment has original wooden ceiling beams and wood floors throughout. The lamps are made of Venetian Murano glass providing a unique Venetian atmposphere. The flat was completely restored six months ago to provide further elegance and comfort.
The first bedroom has a double bed, wardrobe and two windows allowing natural light into the room. Across the hall is the first large fully equipped bathroom with a shower.
The second bedroom has a double-bed, a wardrobe, two windows as well and an en-suite fully equipped private bathroom with marble floor.
Both bedrooms are equipped with double glazed windows keeping away all the noise from the outside. The beds have latex mattresses providing a restful night.
This apartment is great for families of four people, four friends or two couples.
Air conditioning is available.
Although on the 3rd floor this is a nice place to be. Feels like home in Venice. Key pickup could be easier even though the staff are friendly. I have asked them to improve the directions to the apartment so it will be easier to find for 1st timers. This is 2 streets from St Mark Square but not so noisy you can't sleep.
We rented the apartment via Internet and got very detailed information on how to pick up keys and how to reach our apartment. Both instructions were accurate and precise so we quickly found the office for picking up keys - very very close to Piazzale Roma and Railway Station.
Lady in the office was very friendly and answered to all of our questions e.g. she told us how to get to the beach at Lido which is one of the best I've seen so far. Few days later we met her somwhere in the city and she suggested us some nice drink (Spritz with Aperol) to check out. Was really good!
Travelling by Vaporetto was very expensive by our standards (50 euros / 3 days). Fortunately we found a cheaper tickets (22 euros / 3 days). Look at www.hellovenezia.com for info how can you get Hello Venezia card.
Apartment was equipped with everything necessary. Worth mentioning - delivered clean with a set of fresh towels. All in all I would recommend The Key to Italy for their great and friendly service to all travelers. I would recommend Trabanico Apartment especially to all those looking for a higher standard than hotel while still in the same price range.
Very pleasant apartment for two couple, central, though tucked away. We had a must enjoyable stay.
Well, first, Venice is literally my favorite place on Earth!! It captures your heat and doesn't let go. Location of this apartment is wonderful!! Right by St. Marks and so then just a short walk to anywhere in Venice. We stayed with another couple and it is wonderful to have two full bathrooms for privacy. My husband is an executive chef and was able to prepare a 5 star meal for two of our three nights there. We visited the fish market and chose fresh fish and vegetables. The kitchen is very basic and could have used a few more basic utensils and kitchen items, but most people are not cooking on their vacation. Also be prepared...it is 50 stairs up to get to the apartment. Us americans arent use to that, but you learn just not to forget anything when going out. On the whole, it was great and would stay again anytime. Price was right in our budget and I like the apartment feel much better then a hotel.
Our stay in apartment aquileia ticked all the boxes. It was in the most wonderful location, truly 80 metres to Piazza San Marco with all it's hustle and bustle during the day and festive atmosphere at night. I must admit, my companions were a little daunted when we found the tiny alleyway entrance to the apartment. For anyone who has not traveled to Venice, or Italy before, it takes a little time to realise the charm behind these somewhat run-down facades. The 50 steps up to the apartment were a journey in themselves as we enjoyed the pictures and knick-knacks of the permanent residents displayed along the walls. The apartment was exactly as portrayed in the photos and description. Both bedrooms were a good size and very comfortable, and while the apartment was fitted out with modern amenities, it still had a very Italian feel, which we loved. The air-conditioning was a welcome relief as the temperatures were very hot during our stay. Because of the central location, we were glad to be able to head back to the apartment in the afternoon for a break from the heat and crowds and to re-charge our batteries. There were a plethora of eateries nearby, not to mention the gelaterias! Even though the apartment overlooked a very busy shopping alley, noise was never a problem. Checking in and out was made very easy with excellent directions from the office, near Piazzale Roma. Upon leaving all we had to do was place the keys in a drop box back at the office. We were very sad to leave our Venetian home when the time came. Can I recommend to anyone staying here to take advantage of the location, rise early and watch the magical sunrise over the still waters of the Grand Canal, where the only sound you will hear is the lapping of the waves against the bows of the gondolas. The serenity of Piazza San Marco at this time, and the beauty of St Mark's against a pinkening sky is certainly worth giving up a couple of hours sleep for.
Amazing location, right in the centre of Venice - perfect for visiting all of the sights. The apartment was extremely comfortable with good facilities. We cooked for ourselves on a couple of the nights we stayed - we couldn't resist the produce of the fish market. Perhaps the only downside of the apartment is the three flights of stairs which lead up to it, perhaps not suitable for the elderly or otherwise inform.
This was a perfect location and apartment for our family of four. It’s located between Rialto Bridge and San Marco square (closer to San Marco), so couldn’t ask for better!! The apartment is exactly as described in the pictures! Very well kept and furnished. Air conditioning worked great (you have to close all windows in order for A/C to start) and double glazed windows made the place very quiet. Excellent Value for money!
