Our 80 sqm Rio Terra apartment has been recently renovated. It still keeps its original Venetian characteristics. The accomodation offers a unique rare view from one of its windows overlooking the canal. From here you can easily see the gondolas quietly passing by.
This flat is divided on two levels. As soon as you walk into the Rio Terra apartment you will be immediately amazed by its beauty and elegance.
You enter into a large living and dining area furnished with four windows, a satellite television, a double sofa-bed, an oval shaped dining table sitting six people, a fully equipped kitchen featuring a counter top with a sink. The whole apartment is covered with wooden parquet and wooden beam ceilings are all throughout.
There are two very nice double bedrooms. Both are provided with two televisions and are decorated with taste to let you experience a warm and cosy feeling. Both rooms have gorgeous wooden beams.
The first bathroom is fully equipped, it has a large stand up shower, Venetian tiled flooring and the washing machine. There is also a fully equipped second bathroom .
Air conditioning and free internet connection are available.
The apartment is centrally located in a relatively quiet residential area. It was clean, comfortable and accommodated our group of 5 easily. We were able to walk to the places we chose to visit and did not need to spend much time on the waterbus. Their directions for locating the office to check-in were wonderful. It suited our needs for a vacation rental while in Venice perfectly. The dryer was a nice surprise. The check-in/check-out process is not convenient especially when you are dragging luggage around on the cobblestone streets and across the bridges with steps. We were not able to connect to Wi-Fi even though it was advertised as available. Overall, we liked the location, enjoyed the apartment and would stay here again.

We loved the Rio Terra for its proximity to the Rialto. You can find old stores, jewelry shops and various small counters running their business. Lots of shops to buy your loved one a special present. The enticing Rialto Bridge is the oldest and the most fascinating bridge in this beautiful city. The overpass consists of magnificent pillars and amazingly crafted arches. You can witness the stunning view of the Grand Canal while shopping and snuggling up to your lovely partner. The apartment was exactly as pictured and described. The Rio Terra had everything that we needed and was highly central which was great for any kind of shopping. Love all of you guys !
Staying in an apartment was a wonderful experience in Venice. The Rio Terra apartment is situated near two major vaporetto stops (Rialto and Fondamente Nove) which are well connected. Shops, restaurants, and places to buy food are all close by in the neighbourhood. The Cannaregio area is relatively quiet, but not out of the way at all. Walking to the major attractions was easy, and St. Mark's square is within a very leisurely 15 minute walk. The apartment is modern, clean, and accommodated our family of 4 (with 2 teenage girls) very comfortably. We prepared most of our meals in the apartment and had everything we needed over the 4 nights we stayed. We booked through The Key to Italy, and it was very easy, no problems at all. Directions were easy to follow and well explained. Enjoy!
