Our Codussi apartment is rather unique located overlooking the docks in the Island of Giudecca! This spacious and bright apartment offers a comfortable space for a family of five people or just friends.
The roomy living and kitchen area is very nice and warmy. The kitchen is fully equipped with all the tools needed to make a full meal with genuine and tasty Italian food. A table for eating and relaxing sharing your impressions of Venice is at your ease.
An inner balcony with an outbreathing view on the lagoon and on the canals is a very unique feature only a few other apartments can offer.
The elegant and comfy master bedroom has a French double bed for two people, a closet to store your clothes and a tall window to allow plenty of light into the room and with a great view as well.
In the next room is the bedroom with two twin single size (bunk beds) and an extra bed for a third person. Here your sons can enjoy the same room and play together too. A tall window is fatured here as well to allow plenty of light in. The large bathroom is fully equipped with a large tub and marble flooring.
Giudecca is only a short gondola ride from San Marco. Alongside noble palaces stood parks, orchards and vineyards where city dwellers could enjoy fresh air and open spaces. Their favoured drink was “vin salso”, an extraordinary wine with a distinctive taste.
Today the Giudecca still mantains some of the verdant estates which were built according to the willing of the rich Venetian noble families as their summer retreats.
Our accomodation is located in the Giudecca Island facing the beautiful shore of the Zattere and only a few minutes far from Saint Mark's Square by public boat.
From here you can easily reach every part of Venice as there are landing-stages for public boats (called "vaporetto" in Venice) a few minutes from the apartment. The public boat service is available during nights as well.
