Our accommodation Servetta is perfect for three couples or a large family of six people. This very cute apartment is on two floors.
On the first you will have at your hand a bright and spacious dining room area with a large wooden table that sits six people, the nice kitchenette next to it. The space is adorned with a wooden beam ceiling. A well keeped bathroom is at your disposal.
On the second level, you have the elegant and impressive living room area with a television, two windows and a sofa.
Down the hall are both bedrooms, one of which is a double-bed for two people, the other has two twin single size beds. Both bedrooms have a window to allow plenty of sunlight in. The bedrooms are very welcoming and comfortable as you can see from pictures.
The bathroom upstairs features a wash-basin, toilet, bidet and a stand up shower. Apartments Servetta & Galeazzo are in the same building, excellent to accommodate up to 10 people.
Beds and bed clothes clean and comfortable, had to put extra blankets on bed as weather was cold. Wardrobes along corridor were adequate. Bathrooms very good. They had new fittings with modern mixer taps. There was constant hot water for bathrooms and kitchen. Cupboards and dishes were fine. Hob with four gas burners good. There was a bakery, fruit and vegetable shop just beside the apartment, also a bar where we bought wine, it was red wine from the region and very good. There were more shops including a mini-market for groceries on another street nearby. There are plenty of coffee shops nearby. We had a really enjoyable meal in a restaurant called da Remigio about a five minute walk away
This was our first trip to Venice and although I had always wanted to visit Venice and this apartment provided us with the best location and accomodation we could imagine. Tucked away in the Castello area, it is in the heart of some of the best restaurants and artisan shops which is just what we have looked for. Away from the bustle of tourists, Servetta has a homely feel. It was just magical and we hope to come back one day. Thanks again for a lovely stay. I fell in love with Venice !!!
I would definitely stay there again and would recommend servetta. There are good sized radiators in all the rooms including the bathroom but we did not need heating. Neither was air conditioning necessary. Short walking distance to St. Mark's square. We visited St Mark's Basicila (can be booked free online to save queueing), Doges Palace and easily walked to a wedding in St. Giorgio dei Greci. Short walk to water bus at Arsenale, We got food in Billa Supermarket at S. Basilio and returned from there by boat, S. Basilio water bus stop was just outside it.
We spent five nigths at the lovely Servetta and enjoyed this wonderful little gem. The entire staff of the Key to Italy was accomodating and friendly. The apartment looks even better when you step in. Mattresses and pillows were comfortable--not too hard and not too soft. The location is terrific. A very quiet street, but a quick stroll to San Stefano and the Accademia Bridge, and steps away from the Palazzo Grassi. Thanks to Bruno and Vanessa for all their help. Wecelebrated our 20th wedding anniversary in the best way.. see you soon
We were very pleased with Servetta and definitely recommend it. It's located in a nice area of Venice, not too far from San Marco and the Arsenale boat stop. The apartment was very clean and well furnished, exactly as pictured on the agency's site. We didn't use the kitchen too much, but found it fine for our needs. The second bathroom downstairs was nice to have. Get a good map, and walk all around!
My brother and I stayed at Servetta for six nights total in late May/early June 2010, at the beginning of a two-week Italian trip. The apartment is gorgeous - a combination of modern and Venetian style - with antiques, marble floor and wood celings. etc. We decided to rent the apartment as it looked very attractive from the web site photos. We were right and highly satisfied at the end of our stay. thanks to The Key to Italy whose staff were exceptionally friendly
The layout of Servetta worked out very well for my wife and me plus our two kids. The kids had their own bedroom with two twin beds. The master bed was quite comfortable and the bathrooms were clean. Located off a small street near Campo Bandiera in the Arsenale area, about a 7-8 minute walk to San Marco. Several restaurants are in the immediate area. A good bakery was very close by, and a couple medium-sized grocery stores were fairly nearby. Our family would definitely recommend Servetta!
The apartment was in the Castello area of Venice a short walk from the Arsenale or San Zaccaria Vaporetto(water bus) stop. It was a lovely residential location with just a few people passing. We really liked the location. The apartment was absolutely clean. The furniture and fittings were nearly new. Six chairs in kitchen and two sofas in lounge. Only three of us, so more than enough. We are already planning our next trip to London and will definitely book this apartment
