The Galleria dell’Accademia contains masterpieces of Venetian paintings up to the 18th century.

Tha area around the Accademia Bridge on the Grand Canal is home to the Peggy Guggenheim collection and to galleries with some of the best Venetian art, including Titian, Tintoretto, Bellini and Giambono.
