Great location and high standard level! Our Vatican Museums apartment is located within walking distance to S.Peter, the best shopping area of Rome (Piazza del Popolo and Via del Corso) and all the important sights. The district is very central and the apartment is quiet and safe.
The apartment has just been renovated and elegantly furnished. It offers a warm atmosphere and includes all appliances you might need.
It has a fine, spacious and elegant double-room and a large living room with a comfortable double sofa-bed and a table where taste your own meals in relax. A pretty, roomy and very nice bathroom with a shower and a comfortable fully equipped kitchen complete the property.
The kitchen is well supplied with dishes, pots, utensils and all the requirements to cook delicious dishes. It means that you can easily cook in the house if you want stay for dinner.
You will be pleasantly surprised that the apartment is just a few minutes from Vatican and the core of Rome. You will be able to walk everywhere and if you want sometime get the metro you have the stop just a block away.
In the nearby is the marvellous Trionfale market where you can buy fresh food and many vegetables and fruits of first choice. Then you can walk to discover Rome or take the tube and you are in Campo dei Fiori, Piazza di Spagna and Piazza Navona with just 3 stops.
The close proximity of food and wine shops , bus and subway spots mean that you can spend more time sightseeing and less time traveling and shopping. From the accomodation is a really short distance to reach the heart of the city. It will take you no more than ten minutes.
Our Cipro is a perfect place and it is really nice to have the washing machine available and the air conditioning available in the living room and in the bedroom.
When you arrive back at the apartment from sight-seeing you will feel at your ease. The apartment is well stocked with all that is necessary to relax, make meals, read and plan for your days.
Great base for Rome vacation! Very clean and equipped apartment , 50 meter from metro station 'Cipro' and 15 minutes walking distance from San Pietro square. We was rent it for 5 nights and was very satisfied. Good value for money! Very simple procedure for check in/out. Giovanni (Key to Italy) was explained us about apartment, area ,answered to all our questions and give tips about mini markets and restaurants . I would definitely stay again!
thanks Michael, my pleasure. Giovanni
I found the Key to Italy on internet. In comparison with other companies (I tried 2 other first) the communication was easier and faster. I appreciated that I wasn't required to pay in advance the whole amount as other companies requested. The Key to Italy offered the possibility of a car pick up and some excursions. We used the pick-up, which was very well organized. The flat is comfortable and very well located, about 150 m from the metro station and in 2 steps from Vatican museum. We found a supermarket just in front of the flat. I suppose there were others, but we happy with this one. The quarter is very nice.
Hello Anna, happy to see you appreciated our services....even over other agencies...that was a bonus for us!! :) and we are taking it as a great recognition for all the effort every day to make our guest feel like at home! thank you for your words, very appreciated. Giovanni & team
I stayed here in apr 2012 with my mother and we were both very impressed with the apartment. Giovanni, the agent for the apartment was very helpful and welcoming, the apartment itself was well equipt and nicely furnished. everything was spotlessly clean and the area was a nice, safe area walking distance to the Vatican and literally a 1min walk from the Line a metro station- a great place to stay in Rome. Just a shame there was no kettle in the kitchen!
We rented the apartment through The Key To Italy and thanks to Giovanni's excellent attention to our booking we spent a very comfortable 3 nights in Rome. The apartment was clean, spacious and had everything we needed. The location was perfect for us - an easy walk to the St Peter's/Vatican area and the Metro stop nearby made the rest of historic Rome readily accessible. The shops in the streets around the apartment had everything we needed to cater for ourselves, but there were also some nice restaurants within easy reach.
Ciao Martin! Thank you very much and I'm happy to see you've enjoyed the area and the apartmt!Giovanni
We've stayed (the couple with 2.5 years son) in this apartment for a whole week 12-19/10/11. First of all, when you travel with the child - it is safe to make deal with the key to italy. We paid 30% before through the pay pal, and I have some thougths, what if.. But everything was exactly as on the picture, no lie. What I liked: The apartment is new inside. Good building. Everything works properly: hot water, gas, air condition and so on. Good beds, good towels, good apartment with a lot of space. Free wi-fi. What I didn't like: The fully equiped kitchen doesn't include electric kettle and microwave. When I asked to bring a kettle, they started to make a ping-pong, Giovanni said call Bruno, Bruno doesn't answer and so on. So, I wrote them an e-mail and got the answer: "unfortunately it does not depend on us, we have already asked the owner if he can provide it, the kettle is not listed under the amenities of the apartment and is not given for granted in a kitchen (at least in Italy), if this is something so important to you, you should have asked in advance." Unfortunately, I hadn't imagine, that the kettle and microwave is not included in "fully equiped kitchen". So I still think that it is very good apartment, and they don't lie, really don't lie. You should only look good on the pictures and check in mail, if there anything that is important for you. For the last thing, I can notice, that for the money I've paid the service might be better, but the apartment is really very good, very near to metro, very-very clean. We all slept all nights, without that feeling of new place, including my son, that from the first night was sleeping all over the night .
Hi Irina, thanks for your 5 star review and all the nice and detailed feedback you provided. I'm happy to hear that you've enjoyed our accommodation but I'm convinced that in this case we haven't been up fully to our standards in the way we dealt with your request for a kettle and I want to apologize for that. I'm with you that a kettle and microwave, even though not listed in the amenities, would make a better stay, we did reach to the owner but we couldn't manage to have her address your request during your stay, she has just bought it now. So again our apologies for what hopefully was just a minor glitch, let me know if there is anything else I can do for you! thanks Bruno
This is a safe, clean and very comfortable accommodation. It was a great choice for the two of us (we had a very romantic week in Rome), but it can also host 3 or 4 people if necessary. It's equipped with all the furniture, techniques and other stuff you have at home, so after only a while, you begin to feel like you actually live there, and forget that you are a tourist :) which was a great feeling. Also, Bruno and Giovanni from The key to Italy were very helpful and professional, and also helped us feel like at home. The apartment is well decorated and cozy, so that after long walks and exhaustion caused by the city, it really serves you very well, like a kind of a rehabilitation. Everything was as expected - there were no unpleasant surprises. Actually, it was even better than described :). We recommend this apartment highly. Vuk and Natalija
Thanks Natalija, it was a please to have you here and to get to know you. I hope to see you soon again! all the best. Giovanni
excellent apt. great location, just by the metro stop. very clean apt with full facilities. the owner was very helpful and came over personally to deliver some items we requested.
Giovanni was at the apartment to great us and show us around when we arrived even tho it was at 10pm! Very good service :) Apartment is about a 10 mins walk from the Vatican. Nice quiet area. Supermarket is a 5 min walk to stock up on the essentials. A few restaurants around but there are more on the way to the Vatican. Apartment has everything you need. Great having a kitchen to have breakfast before heading out for the day of sightseeing. One day it was raining and we arrived back soaked but there was a clothes horse so our clothes were dry by the morning. something you wouldnt have access to in a hotel. Tv stations are all in Italians but sure you wouldnt have time to watch them anyways! Apartment is on the 7th floor and the lift is quiet small only fits 4 people. Metro Cipro is right next door and it only costs 1 euro to Termini station. I would have no hesitation in recommending this apartment.
We stayed here for 5 nights and found the company The Key to Italy to be helpful reliable and good value, with great communication throughout. The apartment has a fully equipped kitchen, a king size bed and comfortable sofa bed. The apartment is just a few steps from the metro station Cipro and an easy 10 minute walk from the Vatican. Plenty of shops/ supermarkets/take aways/ cafes near by. We always felt safe in this area. We stayed with our two boys age 11 and 9 and would recommend it highly.
Hello Jenny, thanks for your great review and happy to see your family enjoyed the place and the city! Our name is actually The Key to Italy...but we are considering changing our name to "A Taste of Italy" if that's sounds better to you... ;)
My husband and I stayed at this lovely apartment in February while visiting our daughter, who is studying at the University of Rome. The apartment was clean, nicely decorated and fully supplied with breakfast items. Giovanni was courteous and also arranged to have a driver available to us. We had a very pleasant and positive experience. I highly recommend this apartment!
We walked down to the Vatican every morning from the Cipro and it was a great starting point for our daily adventures. We discovered some great bakeries and local eateries. You can catch the local bus right down the street and the metro is a block away. There were local clothing markets and great shops along the way as well. We always felt safe on our walk back. Ciao The key to Italy!
This apartment was perfect for my group of three. We just returned from a six night stay in Cipro Apartment. We had plenty of space and were very comfortable. The kitchen if very modern and has a washer and a generous refrigerator. We especially enjoyed the welcoming living space and relaxed there with a glass of great Italian wine
I stayed at the apartment last month. It was beautiful and accessable to all the sites. Vatican is right around the corner. Truly a great accomodation, we were so happy to find this place!!My family had a great time.
We were visiting our daughter for Christmas and didn't want to stay in a hotel. Having scoured lots of properties we ended up staying here. An ideal location as we wanted to be able to easily go to vatican, so we rented the apartment which had plenty of room for three adults. Everything was as described with the lovely kitchen, the pretty bathroom and the nice ornaments which make the place very cosy. Altogether a very enjoyable time, we were sad to leave, and would love to come back one day and visit Italy in the summer.
We were personally met by Giovanni who was helpful and very prompt with returning correspondence. The apartment is renovated, modern and clean and offered all the necessary features for a very comfortable stay! It has many restaurants, bars and cafes nearby. The only thing I would have liked just for saving time would have been a small map that pointed out the location of grocery stores and other ammenities...
This is a lovely and cheery apartment. We took our two daughters in June and absolutely loved it. The Vatican Museums is very welcoming and we recommend it highly! We were such a short walk to the vatican and even the vatican was close to the other important spots, that was just great.. the best part is the neighborhood, though convenient, is not overly touristy. Staying here gave our family the experience of really living in Rome, even if just for 8 days. The owner take loving care of it, and Silvia gave us wonderful insider tips in terms of where to go and what to see. We are grateful and hope to return in the future.
