The apartment Castel Sant'Angelo is superbly located in Piazza della Rovere on the first floor of a sixteenth century building, just a short walking distance from the Vatican and the ancient Trastevere.
This is a perfect accommodation for a holiday in the heart of the Rome. The apartment is located in a very central position and the closeness to the Navona and Campo de' Fiori area (you have just to cross the San Giovanni dei Fiorentini bridge) allows you to be in the very middle of all the attractions and sights.
Recently completely restored the apartment is made up of a large and stylish living room with a comfortable double sofa-bed and beamed wooden ceilings.
A new parquet floor has been laid throughout the entire apartment. The spacious two double bedrooms have twin windows allowing plenty of light to get in. Air conditioning and washing machine are available.
The modern and renovated bathroom is equipped with shower, and the kitchen area is completely equipped with all the necessary tools to easy make full meals. The location is convenient to open-air markets and shopping streets. Satellite tv is at your disposal in order to entertain yourself.
Apartment Castel Sant'Angelo is situated in the best location of Rome, you won't have need to use public transport as you can walk and admire the beauties of Rome to reach all the important places to see. Have a nice vacation!
The apartment has all the modern amenities such as heating, satellite TV, air conditioning and washing machine. The living room is comfortable and fitted out with sofa, TV and sound system and the kitchen has everything you could need. . We found ourselves walking most days as the Piazza Navona, Pantheon, the Trevi fountain and numerous side streets full of shops and restaurants are all within walking distance. Even the Vatican and St Peter's Basilica is an easy 10 minute walk away. We absolutely loved how central we were to everything, and when we departed, we were able to just walk round the corner to take the express bus to the train station. Groceries and bakeries can be found within a two to three minute walk from the apartment, the nearest coffee shop is just across the street. I would definitely stay here again, and have in fact recommended it to friends who have expressed interest in visiting Rome. We found our stay a wonderful experience, and enjoyed it much more than staying in a hotel. It felt like a home away from home.
We just got home from our Italy tour and we just loved it all, but the crowning jewel was Castel Sant'Angelo accomodation. We had an amazing five days in Rome and the location was fantastic. We walked all over Rome and saw so many of the beautiful sights and ate so much of the fantastic food it's hard to remember it all. Fortunately we took lots of pictures and kept a journal. Thanks for helping to make our stay so enjoyable. Rubina was very helpful and everything about the apartment was great. It truly was our home away from home, and we spent ample time relaxing there during the week when we were not sightseeing. The place truly was charming and it always felt like we were coming home. We have already referred many people to your website and we are already thinking about our next trip to Italy
Yes, we recommend the apartment. The location cannot be beat. It is a comfortable place to base yourself. We personally find Sunday is not an ideal check-in day for us, particularly as all the supermarkets are closed and we therefore cannot stock up with essentials. The building is comfortable with a little gentle wear and tear. For central Rome, the area is quiet. We are both light sleepers and we found we slept well. The apartment is comfortable and simple in its design. There is a dining table that pefectly seats four people; the living room has a sofa and the bedrooms are just loevely. We walked everywhere, had dinner and coffee locally, shopped at the Campo markets. We love the Piazza Farnese for breakfast and people watching. Favourite restaurants are Ditirambo (just off the Campo piazza) and Ar Galetto in the Farnese. Sant'Anna is reliable and easy for jet-lagged people to negotiate. Again we visited the three-level church of San Clemente, walked up to the Palatine and took our nightly strolls through the Pantheon and Navona squares.
The apartment itself is very beautiful compared to other vacation rentals by owners, internet and satellite television are not easy to find in Rome accomodations.. The only issue has to do with it being a vacation rental rather than a hotel - if you have to refer to someone you need to make a call.
Other than that, the service was great, location is great, The key to italy provides tons of useful information and recommendations and the apartment is very nice. We've used several vacation rentals, and I'd recommend this apartment.
Fabulous gem very centrally located. We did not want to be isolated in a hotel with other tourists. We pretended we lived in the heart of Rome for four wonderful days. The apartment was super comfortable with a unique touch in style and a moderne ambience. The location was beyond perfect. We strolled every day over cobblestone streets surrounded by antiquity and local charm. "Our" coffee bistro was literally 10 steps away from the front door. We were also steps away from boutique shops, antiques, and several piazzas. I never wanted to leave Rome. The bakeries, restaurants, music, flowers and fresh produce markets beckoned us back time and again. The Castel Sant'Angelo was an unbeatable combination of charm and location
