We thoroughly enjoyed our stay at apartment Terenzio 1, Trastavere, Rome. Although compact, it was very clean and well-equipped and everything worked perfectly. We particularly loved the roof terrace and had breakfast there every day and occasionally collapsed into one of the reclining chairs in the afternoon for a quick sunbathe. The area was very good, full of restaurants, so lots of choice for dinner and a short walk across Tiberius's Island to all the major sights of the old city. Simona, who met us at the apartment to give us keys and a brief run through everything, was very charming and helpful. The only reason I did not give the apartment five stars was the hardness of the beds and the rather amusing fact that the safe was not bolted to anything - so could easily have been removed. However, the apartment was very secure so we were not worried about possible theft.

We loved it here. The apartment was very clean and recently renovated, and the terrace was fantastic! The location was perfect - we were able to walk to all the major tourist attractions: Vatican, Coloseum, Trevi Fountain, Piazza Navona, Spanish Steps, etc. Several restaurants and cafes are very close by. The grocery store is close and there is a taxi station just around the corner. I would definitely stay at this apartment again. For those with mobility issues there are a few flights of stairs up to the apartment. I would also like to say that the property manager was extremely helpful and accommodating. Trastevere is probably the best place to stay in Rome. And if you can combine it with a nice terrace/roof deck it's perfect. Can highly recommend a local restaurant (Buttero) as well as the Gelato shop in number 51 (Lungaretta?). All the sights in Rome is quite easy to reach from here - so this is definitely a recommendation for this very nice place in Trastevere.

As a family of 5, we found this to be a fantastice place to stay. Tratevere is close enough to the heart of Rome yet feels live a village in its own right. The apartment is very comfortable with enough amenities to allow you to cook for yourself at home if you want. There are little local stores to pick up everything you want and a standard super market 5 minutes away. There are at least a dozen restaurants within the street below you and dozens more withint a 5 minute walk. we were well looked after by Simone who made special arrangements for us with early entry, early get away and taxis - all very friendly and helpful. The missing star on the "comfort" rating is just for a few minor items in the kitchen such as extra bowls and glasses otherwaise we couldnt fault the place.

 My husband and I recently rented this apartment and found it to be a great place! Nice, quiet and clean. Terrace was a big plus and we loved to chill out there after a long day walking.I would definitely recommend this apartment. Giovanni was a big help too.

The terrace and the view are impressive! The apartment itself is also very well mantained and comfortable. All appliances are new, TVs in each bedroom, air conditioning, beds proved very comfortable as well. Kitchen is a little more than a corner but good enough to have a great breakfast and a quick lunch. We never actually had dinner in the apartment since we felt we were missing some of the best restaurants in Rome. We loved the location and Trastevere area especially during the day. There is no elevator but stairs didn't sound too hard for us. Wifi Internet was not advertised but worked great and was a pleasant surprise. I'd not hesitate to rate it 5 stars!
