Our apartment was just lovely. It was very well equipped with all the comforts of home, and in a fantastic location close to all the main attractions of Rome. We walked to every where, even walked with our cases to Rome Termini when we were ready to move to our next destination. The owner of the apartment arranged for one of his friends to meets us at the apartment and handed over the keys. When he arrived home from work he came over and introduced himself and showed us how different things worked in the apartment. Great area for shopping with lots very trendy brand named shops close by.
a fantastic location for a full of life and full of history city. we stay here(Spanish steps apartment) for a week and we have to appreciate the location of the apartment that gave us the opportunity to have all the things that we want to see in close proximity. The apartment has a small terrace facing the Ferrari store and lets you to feel the city in its own splendor as you enjoy a glass of wine. The apartment was well equipped with everything that you need and kept very clean, in a well maintain upscale building If you like shopping this is the apartment for you because you are right in the middle of all the high end stores. If you like history this the apartment for you being close to all the museums and all the history places that you have to see in Rome. You came here for a food experience this is the place you want to stay, because you have all the restaurants that you need around you . You wonder if you have access to the public transportation. The subway is 200m away. The taxi station for the airport is in front of the building. I think it is a very good choice for anybody that is looking to experience Rome . One single remark . Be prepared to go up 100 stairs every time that you want to return to the apartment.
Ciao Marcel! I'm happy to hear you've enjoyed our place and your vacation, thanks for the detailed feedback that further improve the description of this beautiful property. I hope to see you soon again in Spanish Steps in Rome! Giovanni
This apartment really is lovely, bright and airy. The apartment was suitably big enough for our party of three. The bed and the sofa bed were both comfortable. Everything you needed in the kitchen. the bathroom was good, although the glass shower door needing replacing as cracked but the owner explained this and it didn't cause a problem. It was great to have a balcony to sit out on occasionally, which is often not the case in a city. The location is great on the main shopping street and 5 mins walk to the Spanish steps. Not so many restaurants around this area, a couple of nice one in the nearby Piazza, but we walked over to Piazza Novano a couple of nights and found some great little restaurants tucked around the back streets of the Piazza which served great fresh food. Owner was very accomodating with us checking in slightly earlier and leaving our baggage on the last day which was very appreciated. Nice little shop that sells great sandwiches, pizza and pastries just next door, great for stuff for breakfast. This apartment is well worth the money as it gives you more room than a city hotel room. I would recommend this apartment. The 102 steps to the top are a killer after a long day in Rome but great for the view and the balcony.
Francesco, thank you for making our first trip to Rome so special! The flat was a jem and location convenient. thank you for being such a gracious host and answering to our never-ending questions. Your English is good and you gave us many helpful suggestions for our stay in Rome. I would highly recommend this condo! Cheers
We were greated by the owner and given a tour with instructions on all appliances. He lives next door, so if you need anything, he is right there. His English is very good. We never needed anything but he came by when we were checking out to make sure our stay was comfortable. And it was. Very well-lit apartment with spacious kitchen and sitting area. Loved our breakfasts on the balcony overlooking cathedral dome and Rome rooftops! It was very quiet, which was amazing considering how central it is located. We walked everywhere and never needed public transport. 20 sec walk to taxi stand. Above bakery and pizza shop. Next door to best shopping in Rome. Water pressure great. Bedroom tiny with double bed but it was very clean and comfortable. Wonderful aC system thoughout. Stocked with everything you need. 10 flights of stairs and no elevator so be prepared to hike everyday.Grocery store 5 minute walk. Outdoor market 1 min walk. If you are fit and wish to enjoy authetic Roman living at a perfect location, this is your place. Great value.
If you are looking for an apartment in the heart of the city, close to pretty much everything, this is the place for you. The apartment itself is beautiful, everything is new, it has air conditioning which it italy is a huge luxury. There's a even a balcony which has a view of a cupola of a nearby church, very scenic both day and night. I wish I could have stayed longer than 5 days! The apartment is located on the top floor of the building so be prepared to walk up a lot of stairs but it's a great workout after eating gelato all day :)
Upon arrival, it is clear the unit is well taken care of and quite clean. There is only one bedroom and the pull out sofa was as comforatable as a pull out can be. Overall, I really enjoyed the space, it was much better than any hotel would have been for the same price. I tell you, there really are 100 stairs and no elevator. You learn to hate those stairs. The payoff is a fantastic patio space overlooking the Ferrari store and a wonderful view. You do find a coffeee set-up, plenty of towells and sheets. The wifi was spotty and if you have more than one device connecting the speed goes down to a crawl.
