Navona square is one of the greatest example of Baroque Roman urban architecture. Navona square is dominated by the outstanding Four Rivers Fountain designed by Bernini and by the church of St’Agnese in Agone designed by Borromini.
Here you can relax in one of the several outdoor cafes and restaurants and enjoy one of the several shows performed in the square by street performers and artists.
This apartment is beautiful , large and breathtaking. There is simply not a better location in Rome---close to all of the attractions the Regola II is not to be missed! Thank you so much to charming and professional Bruno for everything you did for us responding to my endless emails and date changes and also for helping me with FedEx issues after we arrived at the apartment. You are a real treasure! Special thanks also to Hassan for always being such a joyous person. It was a nice way to start our vacation. You will absolutely love to stay here!
The apartment is in the heart of centro storico in the nearby of Campo de’ Fiori and a few steps from the elegant Piazza Farnese. We chose to stay in an apartment rather than in an hotel as for the comforts. We liked being in an apartment far from noises as it made us feel at our ease. Had we stayed more than three nights we would have shopped in the market and cooked for ourselves. In any case it was nice to be able making coffe by ourselves and have a fridge to store water and milk. I have to say that we loved the Regola II. Its location is perfect to walk to everything we came for such as Colosseum, Vatican, Pantheon, Trevi Fountain, Roman Forum and more others. The decor is beautiful, the beds great and customer service was amazing. Thanks
My wife, two sons and I just spent 6 wonderful nights here and highly recommend this apartment. The staff was very accommodating, especially Giovanni. They were always available to help us with dinner reservations, great places to shop and booking tours. The location is just perfect being close to great restaurants, major sights, wonderful boutiques and within walking distance to most of the major attractions. Even though we heard the Campo de Fiori is a busy area the apartment was very quiet and we never heard any noise from outside. The apartment itself was a good size, it gets you the feeling to have your own house in the city. We would return to Regola II next time we plan visiting Rome. It is a gem in old town!
We stayed at the Regola for 3 nights. The rooms were clean and functional. We didn't immagine to have such wide space for us and it was a pleasent surprise. We especialy enjoyed the living room which was charming and modern. We really had the feeling to be at home. Silvia took care of the airport transfers. We arrived very late but she was very friendly and gave us the information we needed. She also gave tips where to go out for dinner for good prices. We visited Rome by walking, the apartment is perfectly located to go on foot to the Vatican, as well as to the north and the old part of the town.We were given an extra set of keys and we could leave our luggage inside the apartment the last day after 10.30 a.m. Silvia gave us her phone number in case we had problems and answered each call immediately. Even though we saw her only once she was a great host! Campo dei Fiori was a great place to wander. The best thing is to come to the market early in the morning 7.00am when it is setting up. The vendors laugh and joke while setting up their stalls. Besides the flowers there are the many fruit and vegetable stalls. Buy some tomatoes for bruschetta . The tiny roma pomadoros are really sweet and the spice shops have every kind of spice for special pasta dishes. The olive oil and limoncello stalls sell the products in various shaped bottles. Buy one of it before leaving :) It will be a pleasent remimber of your vacation!
I stayed at Regola for 5 nights with my sister and her two sons on our trip to Italy in March 2011. When we first got there, we had a little bit of a problem finding the apartment. Then we were approached by someone asking us if we were looking for the apartment but because we had arrived before check-in time we could not get the home at that time. however, the gentlemen was nice enough in showing the apartment and explain everything we needed to know about it.
We decided to explore the surroundings while waiting for the apartment and were very pleasantly surprised at how great the location of the apartment was. We were literally 5 steps from the gorgeous Piazza Navona and walking distance to most attractions like Vatican City, Trevi Fountain, etc.
Once we checked in to our apartment later in the morninng we were again astonishigly surprised by how big & spacious the house was and how nicely decorated, very cosy, a place I could easily live in for longer the time I stayed. Definitely a unspotless place where we desired to be for more days. Maybe next time. We'll see.
We loved this place and especially its location. We couldn't ask for better. In the middle between campo dei fiori and navona square, close to all attractions. several bars to chill out at night and a number of pizzerias and restaurants to choose from! air conditioning worked great. Apartment is on two levels but well organized. We have had a fantastic 5 day stay!
