Great location to experience a true slice of Roman city life. Beautiful interiors and great location to all the sights of Rome. It's prefect if you want to avoid all the touristy areas and the places that tourists prefer to stay. Yet, you are a stone away from that parts of the town and a short walk allow you to reach many points of interest....you can never see it all, anyway we could actually see most of the landmarks and that made the sightseeing much easier. The staff was very professional from my inital inquiry and helping to find the right apartment to the check-in process the coordinating of drivers and day trips. All the staff was more than responsive to any question we had. They made the trip more enjoyable and relaxing. I would highly recommend their team to anyone looking for a unique Roman experience. They'll take care of you!
If you are looking to spend a week feeling like you really live in Rome, this is the place to do it. The apartment sits right in the middle of spectacular ruins with a small balcony that overlooks the scene. We walked to Campo di Fiori every morning for fresh fruit and pastry at the daily market. In the other direction, the Forum and the Colosseum are just a 10 minute walk away. Right downstairs from the apartment is the Jewish Ghetto where we ate many nights at different and equally delicious restaurants. Around the corner we found Sora Margherita to have the best artichokes (both Roman and Jewish style). The apartment is a nice size and the water pressure and heat are good. Our children were comfortable on the pull-out couch in the living room. I would absolutely return to this apartment given the opportunity to visit Rome again.
Thanks Jillian, your words better than ours describe the place...I'm happy to see you discovered "Sora Margherita" which is a great restaurant and known to few local people though! all the best! Bruno
The apartment was perfect for our family! We have two kids and we had a perfect location at a really reasonable price. The apartment is very beautifully decorated and comfortable. The living room has a day bed which was very comfortable for my boys. My husband and I loved walking around for coffee and pastries. All the major sites are within walking distance (although we did walk a lot!). Thank you for your hospitality!
We loved the area! walking distance from all attractions we wanted to see, quiet and safe neighbourhood! Apartment was very nice, clean, well furnished and bright! Restaurant Giggetto is a must for dinner, but lots of others to mention. Agency was easy to work with and helpful.
