Via Cola di Rienzo, the commercial heart of the Prati neighborhood just north of the Vatican, is a popular shopping destination for Romans.

To go to Cola di Rienzo just walk from Ottaviano towards Piazza Risorgimento and then turn left into the the first street.
Castroni and Franchi, two wide stores which sell all kinds of Italian food (At Castroni you will find international food as well) are on the right side. Two popular café with outdoor seating are further down in the piazza.
You can also walk to Cola di Rienzo by simply crossing the river from Piazza del Popolo, in the case you have been already shopping in the other famous shopping street which is Via del Corso and would like to take a look at some other fashionable shops.
