The Spanish Steps are located in one of the most well known areas of Rome. The Piazza di Spagna is one of the most popular tourist sites in Rome. The Scalinata is without a doubt the longest and widest staircase in all Europe. During May, part of the steps are covered by beautiful “Azalea” flowers. The steps in this time become a “Garden Stairs” . A sign that proves that Spring is forthcoming.
