This famous pizzeria is one of the most known in Rome. The place is in a lovely little street in the old part of town, not easy to find without a good map. The food is great, for this reason Dar Poeta is one of our choises.
Given that the spot is very popular among the romans it fills up in a while. If you arrive there and there will be a line don’t worry since the neighborhood around is very lively.
After having given your name to a member staff you can have a stroll along Trastevere district while awaiting for your seat. All of the disches are extremly fresh and nicely cooked. We recommend this restaurant if you want good food in a charming environment.
Dar Poeta won't disappoint you! Delicious thin crust pizza, cozy atmosphere and great prices! The pizza menu is very extensive, hard to choose from. The bruschetta is awesome and the wine is cheap.
Two pizzas and a half liter of house red whine will be only 17 euros. Pizzas are about 11 inches and more than enough for one person. You have to try this place and we are sure you will thank us for the advice!!
