The Ca’Rezzonico, dedicated to exploring and explaining 18th century Venice, is one of the most intriguing museums in the city, offering a glimpse behind the scenes of how was life in Venice in the past. The Ca’ Rezzonico is located in the Dorsoduro district at the junction where Rio di San Barnaba meets the Grand Canal. Baldassare Longhena, the architect of the building, who died in 1682, did not see the completion of the palace. There is a grand collection of Venetian paintings on the upper floors. Here you see life as it was in 18th century Venice. You will really feel like you are stepping back in time.
