It is not the kind of place to have a romantic dinner but if you are not afraid of Italian-style friendly atmosphere, this is where you have to go to eat a pizza in Rome.
Prices are rather cheap. Try the Baffetto pizza. It is only open for dinner and in general you have to wait for 20 - 30 minutes. But it worths it. Don't forget to take a picture with the restaurant's owner.
The restaurant is on a corner and it is mostly outdoor seating. You will probably see a line of people waiting. To avoid the wait, try to get there early when and you will be able to sit immediately.
By the time you leave, there will be a bunch of people waiting. An hour later if you happen to walked by there the line it will be very long.
The pizza has a very crispy thin crust. Da Baffetto pizzas are huge. They arrive on tin plates and they taste heavenly. The bases are thin, the tomatoes are fresh, the cheese is excellent.
The restaurant is in all the tour guides because people of all nationalities eat there.The prices, as we have said, are fine for Rome, a little below average and the stunning is impressive. The street where the restaurant lies is one of the most beautiful in Rome.
The pizza at da Baffetto is very good and the price is fair for a decent meal. If you're looking to try pizza while in Rome, it is certainly a good choice and we would recommend it. Feel Roman and enjoy the atmosphere!!
